Overview:

 

Performs ICD-10 and CPT coding entry functions for services rendered in the clinical unit. Provides related education and training to the staff and physicians. Maintains files for current fee schedules and coding requirements. Researches, clarifies and verifies coding as needed for accurate submission of insurance claims. Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • High school graduate or equivalent.

    • Must have attended recent courses in coding or demonstrated advanced coding and reimbursement experience. 

  • Experience:

    • Must have previous experience in insurance billing, ICD-10 and CPT coding and charge entry.

    • Must have two years experience in a clinic setting
