Position: REMOTE - Finanical Analyst II
Location: Revenue Cycle
Shift: FT Days - 8:00am - 4:30pm 40/hrs per week

Overview:
This position reports to Manager of Accounts Receivable Valuation & Audit. Responsible for supporting the Mercy Revenue Management Function, including Hospital revenue analysis and monthly accounts receivable reserving processes. Responsible for preparing and posting journal entries. Other core responsibilities include but are not limited to hindsights, quarterly rate study and the net patient service revenue budget. Ensures Mercy Values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Two (2) years accounting experience, preferably health care related.
Other: High level of proficiency in general ledger & PC applications, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, analytical abilities and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. Works independently on assigned tasks.
Able to self review and identify/correct errors.
Preferred Experience: two to five years experience in health care setting.
