Description
Overview:
- Under the direction of the Manager, will perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support.
- Activities include, but are not limited to: phones, billing, appointment scheduling, patient registration, office supply inventory, transcription, filing, insurance verification and other duties as assigned.
- Interacts with co-workers and members of other departments.
- Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management; works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals.
- Responds to requests within authorized scope of knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required with coursework in clerical skills.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a medical office setting.
