As a Patient Service Representative in Mercy's Clinic Float Pool, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and service across multiple clinic locations in the St. Louis area.

What You'll Do:
- Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
- Float between various clinic locations, supporting different teams while maintaining consistent, high-quality service.
- Manage front desk operations—answer phones, create Epic charts, handle mail, scan documents, and more.
- Coordinate patient flow by managing check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling with care and accuracy.
- Handle cash drawer responsibilities when needed, ensuring secure and accurate transactions.
- Support clinic operations by using and maintaining essential office equipment.
- Adapt to evolving workflows and Epic updates, staying flexible and informed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in reception areas, following infection control guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all patient interactions and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience in a medical office or similar setting
- Training: New hires must complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training through Clinical Education
- Internal candidates applying for the Advanced PSR title must complete both PSR and Advanced PR competencies prior to promotion.
