Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Midwest City

Full-Time; 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-5pm

 

Overview:

 

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care Lead MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Lead MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training. All competencies completed for Advanced Medical Assistant.
  • Certification(s): BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Preferred Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Preferred Experience: Caregiver has previous documented Medical Assistant experience of at least two years, preferably in the Primary Care setting.
  • Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
    • Quality Performance Metrics Champion-anticipates patterns and links to issues and looks beyond immediate problem to the wider implications.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation.
    • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
    • Knowledge of common outpatient procedures and equipment.
    • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional growth.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of varying differences and behaviors among populations served.
