Find your calling at Mercy! In conjunction with the Trauma Program Manager, facilitates, monitors and coordinates Trauma related educational and outreach endeavors. Assists in achieving quality patient focused care by coordinating educational elements to ensure an organized multidisciplinary team approach to quality care of the trauma patient. Facilitates compliance with State of Missouri trauma center regulations regarding trauma related education and prevention activities. Major duties and responsibilities are defined by the Nurse Practice Act and the Trauma Program Manager. Position Details: Education: BSN required, MS preferred. Licensure: RN license in the State of MO. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in trauma nursing and staff education required. Past experience must have demonstrated good interpersonal skills, teaching ability and the ability to apply sound principles of management to educational program execution. Certifications: BLS and TNCC required, other certifications as determined by department. Other: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Preferred Education: Masters degree preferred. Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Preferred Certifications: Trauma certification preferred. ACLS preferred. CEN or CCRN preferred. Preferred Other: Why Mercy?
