Mercyhealth System in Janesville, WI. is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible
Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist MD/DO to join our excellent team of collaborating Physicians!
Mercyhealth is a multi-regional, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, more than 700 employed physicians, over 80 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery, Watchman, and much more!
Admitting hospital, Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center is a 275-bed acute care hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin. In addition to the main hospital, the facility boasts a level III trauma center and a variety of specialty centers offering heart and vascular care, cancer care, inpatient rehabilitation, stroke care, joint replacements, plastic/cosmetic surgery.
Opportunity:
- Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center – Janesville WI.
- Join a well-established team of three Pathologists, one PA, histology and cytology technicians.
- M-F 0800-1600 with very minimal shared call, 1:3 weeks
- Onsite full-service clinical pathology lab
- Onsite full-service cytology department
- Onsite histology lab with immunoperoxidase/special stains
- EPIC EMR.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO Board Certified
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
- A passion for making lives better
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
