Calling all real estate operations gurus! Do you love partnering with title, escrow, underwriting to get loans approved?! Do you have excellent communication and documentation skills?  If so, we just might have the right job for you!

  • Reviews title policies, ensures vesting is acceptable, works with title to update and correct vesting issues, confirms item numbers to remain on the final report are acceptable, documents solar status if applicable, applies for subordination agreement, requests UCC lien releases if applicable, opens escrow and properly direct them to resolve title issues.
  • Reviews loan application to determine the necessary documentation needed to support income, credit and property collateral.
  • Analyzes equity applications for completeness, research income with employers and on the internet, utilize sources to verify liability and credit documentation. Analyzes tax returns as well as standard income documentations in determining qualifying income. Works with members to address all underwriters' concerns.
  • Prepares and delivers Closing Loan Documents to the branch for signing, ensures all associated new warranty deeds are accurate and presented with the proper title transfer forms.
  • Assists members with completing loan applications; pre-qualifies borrowers and establishes loan application eligibility and counsels members who apply for 2nd trust deed loans. Presents, explains, and makes recommendations of proper equity program to fit the member's needs.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Minimum of two years previous FNMA/FHLMC processing experience.
  • Completion of registration with the NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing Registry) including a satisfactory result from a Federal-Level background check is required.
  • Knowledgeable in lending regulations to ensure compliance with Regulation Z, Regulation B, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, RESPA, CFPB compliance, KBYO, ATR, QM, HPML, HOEPA. Safe Act Registration: Mandatory license and compliance.
  • Excellent phone and member service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Good organizational and time management skills. INDMF

This job grade is a 7N.

Base Pay/Salary:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour

The hourly rate we expect to pay for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
