Shift/Hours/Location: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, remote opportunity

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Serve as primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Translate documents, emails, and other materials from Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Conduct interpretation during meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Communicate the progress of initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel internationally to Taiwan as needed.
  • Travel to MLI-HQ and ARC as needed.
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Assist with email correspondence and communication in both English and Japanese
  • Travel internationally to Japan as needed.
  • Coordinate with distributors, particularly TAMA, to process orders and manage inventory.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Support light sales activities by providing product information and assisting with inquiries.
  • Work independently and proactively to anticipate the CEO's needs and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities as necessary.
  • Have the confidence to ask clarifying questions and seek guidance when needed to fulfill the CEO's requirements effectively.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English
  • Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also being a proactive team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Ability to travel internationally with no travel restrictions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a remote position
  • Prior experience in administrative support or executive assistance
  • Familiarity with distributor management and light sales processes

 

SALARY & BENEFITS

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $68K-$90K

WORKING CONDITIONS

Employees must maintain a quiet, professional, and dedicated workspace free from distractions to ensure optimal productivity. While remote work employees are expected to be available during core business hours and accessible via email, phone, or instant messaging during agreed-upon times. Regular communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders is essential. Employees should proactively engage in virtual meetings, provide timely updates on project progress, and promptly respond to inquiries. Employees must adhere to company policies and procedures regarding the protection of confidential information and data security. This includes securing electronic devices, using encrypted communication channels, and following best practices for data handling. Remote employees must comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, regardless of their work location. This includes but is not limited to standards of conduct, attendance, and performance expectations. When working onsite duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.  When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc. This role requires frequent travel.
