Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Pediatric Hospitalist in the 20 bedded inpatient pediatric unit. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.

This candidate would join a growing division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine and a large 40+ department of Pediatrics that provides the full spectrum of care to a large urban diverse population of children and families and has a moderately sized (42) pediatric residency program. This position will include some night and weekend calls. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

We offer faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. The candidate needs to be a BE/BC pediatrician with experience in inpatient pediatrics and/or a BE/BC pediatric hospitalist. Candidates must possess a valid New York State license and DEA. The range for this position is $180,000-$190,000 plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
