NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Track Services Representative  based in our Concord, North Carolina office.

The Track Services Representative is responsible for delivering the ultimate guest services experience to customers at venues across the country.  This role is primarily responsible for providing customer and technical support at the shop and trackside services included in rental contracts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as event contact for at-track rentals of radios and equipment; prepare orders for events per contract specifications; manage distribution and return of equipment.
  • Provide customer service and technical support to Team Services and corporate rental customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment operations in order to answer questions and address any customer concerns regarding product features and setup; perform trouble shooting, repeater setup, radio programming, etc.
  • Deliver the highest level of trackside customer service to customers.
  • Maintain, track, and service rental equipment, including regular inventory review and miscellaneous record keeping.
  • Maintain frequency coordination for each event, communicating and distributing updates when needed
  • Maintain proficiency in programming and operating 2-way radios; direct end users on operation and features as needed
  • Perform general service and repair of 2-way radios and accessories (headsets, interface cabling, adapters, antenna cabling).
  • Travel: 75%, including weekends and holidays

Required skills / experience:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Customer service experience preferred.                 
  • Proficient on company provided hardware and software.                            
  • Ability to communicate effectively; excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public and to deal effectively with questions and/or issues as they arise
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues as well and internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team settings
