Summary:
The Sr. Project Manager's goal is to facilitate a positive experience with NEXTracker. He/she ensures that NEXTracker's products and installation out-perform customer expectations and are of the highest quality possible, and develops customer loyalty by optimizing the product to the customer's needs while providing great technical support services on the NEXTracker product.
Responsibilities:
• Provides technical support for NEXTracker customers worldwide, ensuring a best in class customer experience by providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value
• Develop and maintain technical understanding of PV solar tracking systems and associated tools
• Have strong customer care experience and be able to effectively communicate resolutions for customer concerns
• Responsible for managing groups of projects from PO to Commissioning as the single point of contact for the customer
• Oversee the daily project work flow of the onsite manager
• Schedule onsite tool training, maintenance programs, subcontractor training, quality control
• Coordinates with all internal NEXTracker departments to execute the terms of the contract including but not limited to Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Assett Management, Marketing, Finance
• Works with cross functional team to develop needed revenue forecasts
• Provide customer field support for installation and quality control
• Support NEXTracker product procurement, logistics, and system design
• Establishes and measures key performance indicators for customer care to drive behavior and performance
• Presents the ongoing results to management and to customers
• Plays key role in cross-functional product teams, providing recommendations based on systems integration expertise and customer needs assessments and feedback • Supports product development, sales, and marketing as requested
• Internal customer voice. An advocate for the customer within NEXTracker
• May include supervising other Project Managers if required
• Ensure project P&L and budget is updated bi-weekly
• Ensure the project schedule is communicated internally through ERP; ensure project delivery schedule is commenced externally
• Document and process all Change Order transactions
Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of PV technology and its applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in supply chain procurement and logistics
• Understanding of dealing with customer support and O&M issues
• Extensive hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking solar systems a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Passion for solar is a plus
