Job Description:

Sr. Power Electronics Engineer - High Power Conversion  Qualifications:

·         MSc in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics, Ph.D. is preferred

·         8+ years of hands-on power electronics design and development

·         A proven track record of working on the design, simulations, and analysis of power conversion products

·         Experience in PCB layout and design of analog/digital circuits

·         A proven track record of experience with the full production cycle from ideation to manufacturing of multiple products

·         Strong understanding of power conversion topologies and control strategies, switching device characteristics and losses, gate driving circuit design, magnetics, etc.

·         High volume product design experience

·         Hands-on hardware experience in power electronics design

·         Design experience with products that connect to the electrical grid

·         Experience with NPI and working with Contract Manufacturing for high-volume production

·         Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for overall team success

·         A leadership personality

Responsibilities

·         Own full product lifecycle: specification, design, prototype, certification, reliability, validation, and manufacturing of power electronics products

·         Define system architecture and create engineering requirements for components and systems

·         Work with the NPI and manufacturing team to ensure efficient and high-yield production of the power electronics products

·         As a Lead Power Electronics Engineer, you will lead the execution of multiple programs and be accountable for meeting development timelines and milestones
