Pay Range: $17.00 hourly
Must currently be in an Interior Design degree program.
Flexible schedule adjustable based on school schedule.
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
NFM's Intern assists in performing departmental duties as they are needed by their team. If you are looking to gain experience at a large, fast-paced company, an internship at Nebraska Furniture Mart is the job for you!
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Work closely with a team of Designers to assist in presentations and floor plan documentation
- Maintain, organize, and assemble samples in the catalog room regularly
- Assist in disnger house calls for obervation and generating measurements
- Participate in designer/client meetings and presentations, offering
- Assist in textile research and selection process

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- College course work in relevant area
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
- Data entry skills per established department requirements
- Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
