Pay Range: $93,412 - 124,319 annually

If providing a safe place to work is of the utmost importance to you, this is a great role for you! As NFM's Safety Manager you will direct the NFM safety and health program. Continuously monitor and adapt safety procedures and operations to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment. Manage Workers' Compensation Claims and general liability claims. Ensure compliance with established policies and OSHA and EPA regulations. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to work in the office based on business needs.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Advance: Develop and maintain Safety policies
- Maintain: Oversees investigations of accidents and injuries and suggest preventive solutions
- Safeguard: Ensures inspections and tours of all facilities are completed to detect existing or potential accident, fire and health hazards and recommends corrective or preventive actions
- Lead: Conduct and oversee OSHA-required training
- Monitor: Examine potential unsafe working and/or shopping conditions
- Oversee: Conduct and review investigations of accidents and injuries and suggest preventive solutions

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Bachelor's degree in business, occupational safety, or related area
- 6 years of safety and leadership experience
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Quarterly travel to other store locations
- Certified CPR Trainer preferred
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours as needed
- Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record
- Pre-employment screening includes, but is not limited to criminal background check
