- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Travelers are required to work every other weekend.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Experience in MedSurg
- Traveler Experience: Unit WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers (Must have at least 1 year of travel experience. Prefer 2 years previous travel experience)

- Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE

- RATIOS: 1:5-6
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
- 36 hrs only
- SHIFT: 12HR DAYS
- RTO -7 DAYS MAX
- If RTO includes weekends, time will be added to end of contract to make up for those dates.
- Float Requirement: Floating Required: floating required to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units.
- If the traveler calls in for a scheduled weekend shift, we will need to have them make up the weekend shifts based on the needs of the unit.
- Frequent floating may be required.
- SCHEDULING TYPE: Preferred Scheduling
- If a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day the same week or at the end of their contract.
- Unit Specific Information
- We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more.
- We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:1.
- 42 daily census. 43 rooms/beds.
