Certification Details
• Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• BLS - Basic Life Support required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required
• Tech Cert Verification - National required within 30 days of start
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement required annually
• State License 1 Verification and NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for ER and all Critical Care RNs
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for Aya only
• Competency Exam and Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required
• Ohio State - Fingerprint Attestation required for certain units

Job Details
• Registered Nurse position at Ohio State University Hospital
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Weekdays and some weekends. Rotating holidays.
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
• Estimated Patient Ratios: Variable
• Experience Requirement: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required.
• Patient Age Group: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Staffing Ratios: Day: 3.5, Nights: 3.5, Weekends: 3.5
• Weekend Shifts per Contract: 9
• Provider Support: Interpretation Services, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Unit Secretary

Job Requirements
• 3 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Epic experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
