As the Project & Materials Coordinator I, your primary responsibility will be assisting engineers with project coordination, inventory control, production order creation/closing and other SAP tasks.  Your detailed work product will be an important part of creating new automated systems for a wide range of customers. You will work closely with engineers and machinists in a prototype, first article, environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Project planning and management, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Creating a project plan with critical milestones
    • Procurement and material tracking
    • Tracking resources and project timelines
    • Project updates to the sales team
    • Machine shop production order creation/closing in SAP
  • Inventory management, including receiving and stocking materials
  • Item (part numbers), Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing management in an ERP System
  • Assist in the review of quotes
  • Assembly drawing reviews
  • Assist with assembly of prototypes
  • Process BOM and drawing changes (red lines)
  • Source components and component specifications
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Project coordination/planning experience desired
  • ERP (SAP) experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter who's able to work independently, with supervision
  • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple projects at once
  • Possess time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to receive feedback on work performed and implement changes accordingly
  • Self-check work for completeness and accuracy
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $30.00 - $43.60/hour depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, paid time off, employee assistance, etc.).
