Salary: $15.00/hour plus tips

Shift Differential: 

Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked 
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked 
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees: 

Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Summary:

DEALER: Conduct assigned game according to Oneida procedures. Exchange cash for gaming chips, deal multiple card games, and provide quality customer service within the policies, procedures, and expectations of the Table Games Department.

FLOOR PERSON: Assist the Pit Managers in the basic functions of the casino pit operations. Observe casino dealers in operation to ascertain the policies and procedures are being adhered to in the table games area. Oversee and designate tables to the Casino dealers and ensure proper colored cards and dice are distributed for the daily operation of casino card games and provide accurate Player Tracking.

DEALER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Table Games operations at all times and in all activities. Promote the Table Games to all patrons. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of the Oneida Casino. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as the top priority.

2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in all areas at all times. Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations. Adhere to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.

3. Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to departmental policy and in an accurate manner.

4. Inform the Casino Supervisor of any special requests or unusual play.

5. Sign and tabulate reconciliation forms for overall accountability.

6. Ensure game protection, accurate payouts and game pace that both meets guest expectations and maximizes hands per hour.

7. Deal an assortment of Table Games as assigned by supervisor.

8. Safeguard company assets.

FLOOR PERSON DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist the Pit Managers in overseeing that all games are conducted within Department Standard Operating Procedures and National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA).

2. Resolve any conflicts which arise during the operation of the games. Maintain game integrity and player tracking and overseeing the operation of 1-6 gaming tables.

3. Recommend to Pit Managers when additional tables need to be opened to accommodate customer demand.

4. Track Table Game players play to include monies bet, descriptions of players, level of play, Players Club Members, and complete Title 31 information as needed. Ensure accurate player tracking of all Title 31 transactions as they may occur in the pit.

5. Designate tables to the Casino dealers and ensure proper colored cards and dice are distributed for the daily operation.

6. Assist in the daily inventory of retrieving the correct number of cards and dice from the card room to the pit area for the start of the table game operations; and to also return the remaining inventory of cards and dice to card room at end of shift.

7. Access pit keys daily to complete count and open/close table games.

8. Utilize the player tracking system to promote increased participation in the players club and sign-up new members to the Players Club and print Player Club cards as needed for guests.

9. Complete fill and credit for Casino tables.

MINIMUM FLOOR PERSON QUALIFICATIONS:

1. One (1) year dealing experience all major games including Blackjack, Carnival Games, and Roulette.

2. Must have good math skills. (Must pass a Floor Person Payout Test)

3. Must be able to successfully pass an Audition to ensure proficiency.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
