Position: Full Time Programs Coordinator People & Culture
Site: Toronto/Calgary/Vancouver Head Office
Location: Hybrid Work Environment
Hours: Monday-Friday (0900-1700 hrs.)
Position Overview:
The Programs Coordinator for People & Culture, reporting to the National Programs Manager, will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of P&C programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness on both a regional and national level. This role will play a key part in driving the success of People & Culture programs
Job Description:
- Work with the People & Culture team and additional stakeholders to cascade programs and initiatives at both the regional and national level. (e.g. wage subsidy program, employee engagement, ATS implementation, etc.)
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure timely completion of P&C programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and distribute communications related to P&C programs/initiatives, ensuring clarity and engagement among employees
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to the programs and initiatives, including tracking.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to continuously improve People & Culture programs. (e.g. employee surveys)
- Organize training sessions, workshops, seminars, including scheduling, logistics and participant communication.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to initiatives and programs, their outcomes and metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement with P&C and recommend enhancements based on employee feedback and industry best practices.
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects with National Programs Manager as needed.
- Support the development and dissemination of People & Culture policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and alignment with best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or program coordination
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
