Position: Security Guard
Site: Seneca Polytechnic - Peterborough
City: North York, ON
Averaging Agreement: ESA Overtime after 44 Hours
Status: Full-Time
Hours: Sunday & Monday 0500-1300 - Tuesday to Thursday 1500-2300
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.50/ an hour

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol campus grounds, aviation hangars, and specialized facilities
- Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service to a tight-knit academic community
- Support enforcement of campus policies and event safety
- Work closely with airport facilities staff on campus concerns and flight lines
- Emergency response for small aircraft emergency landing and liaising with local authorities
Qualifications
- Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid/CPR
- Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
- Experience in technical or industrial security is an asset
- Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
- Professional, adaptable attitude
- Must not be a current Seneca student at Peterborough
High School Diploma
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
A Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
Use of Force in Class Training
Valid G or G2 Drivers License
Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
Vulnerable Sector Check
Authorized to legally work in Canada
