Description

The Banking Specialist is primarily responsible for the management of the Paycom Pay product, but also provides support for daily cash positioning and compliance-related processes as needed.  As primary support for the Paycom Pay product, this team performs check management processes on behalf of clients and fields related inquiries from clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer void, stale or stop payment transactions on behalf of clients in each Paycom Pay Bank
  • Administer credit transactions to clients related to void, stop or stale issues
  • Research and/or verify issued checks for external parties
  • Partner with banks, check verification companies, and check cashing establishments to address or resolve check processing issues
  • Oversee check fraud claims on behalf of clients
  • Prepare client billing reports for ancillary banking services performed
  • Support to Investments and Compliance teams for processes including daily cash positioning and unclaimed property
  • Assist Team Leader with updating policies, procedures and monthly reports


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High School or GED

Experience:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • 1+ years of work experience in Banking Operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business

Experience:

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong ability to follow through and think critically
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
  • Ability to work overtime hours (if needed)
  • Strong presentation skills preferred
  • Ability to translate data points to better understand team performance preferred
