Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support required with front and signed back
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for PICU, ER, PACU
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for NICU, Nursery, Antepartum, PostPartum, and Labor & Delivery units
• Chemo Cert is required for Oncology
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for ER and preferred but not required for ICU
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring required for L&D, Mother-Baby/Post Partum, Nursery
• NIH Stroke Certification required for ED, Cath Lab, ICU, CV Surgery (not CVOR), MS/Tele, Neurology and Techs (Cath Lab and Imaging), also required for Tele and ICU
• Color Blind Exam is required within 1 year of start
• Tech Cert - National required for Respiratory Therapists with WA RT License
• State License 1 Verification required within 30 days of start and for services being performed

• Types of Cases: elective cases 2 yrs & up- non elective children trsf'd to childrens F; Joint (hips & knees) & Neuro Center; CV program, Hybrid
• Special procedure done on the unit: Ortho, Neuro, Gen, CV, Vascular, ENT, Eyes, Robotics, Gyn, GU, Plastics
• # of ORs: 10 ORs, 35-45 cases/day
• Epic Experience REQ: Epic experience is preferred.
• First-Timers Accepted: Yes

Job Requirements
• Years of Experience REQ: This is a cardiac scrub position and strong cardiac scrub experience is required as well as scrub experience in other specialties. When we do not have cardiac cases scheduled our cardiac team scrubs in all other surgical specialties.
• Credentials Required: CVOR Tech Required (must have cardiac scrub training in the 1st and 2nd scrub role). WA Surgical Technician cert is required.
• BLS REQ: Yes, and ACLS is also required.
• Is on-call REQ? Yes, cardiac call required, 7+ shifts per month
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, rarely
• Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending License Accepted: WA Surgical Technician cert is required
• RTO Restrictions: TBD
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Schedule Information
• Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements).
• Shift: 4x10 Variable Days (0600 or 0645 start time, varies)
• Weekend REQ: TBD but must be open to working weekends.
