Description

Instruct and implement the Medical Assistant (front office) to educate students in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives.

This position is 35 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  Essential Functions
  • Create and implement daily lesson plans, including scheduled activities and materials.

  • Plan and deliver instruction to meet student needs and established curriculum objectives.

  • Evaluate students' performance and make necessary adjustments to address learning needs.

  • Maintain attendance and grades per established policies. Prepare and submit final grades at the end of each module.

  • Organize and coordinate guest speakers, community service activities, and visits to clinics or medical offices.

  • Deliver lectures and practical demonstrations, both in-class and one-on-one.

  • Guide and support students through the Medical Assistant program curriculum.

  • Assist with the inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment as needed.

  • Coordinate externships for Medical Assistant students as required.

  • Monitor and ensure student safety in the classroom.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Healthcare Administration program.

  • Three (3) years of practical experience in Healthcare Administration.

  • A minimum of four (4) years of job-related experience and training for instructors without a degree from an accredited Healthcare Administration program.

  • Current license, certification, or other required designations as mandated by local, state, or federal regulations for work in the Healthcare Administration field.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.

  • Hiring Range: $20.80–$24.96 per hour
