We are a 55 and older Independent Senior Living Community located right next to Grasslands Golf Club. If you love working and talking with the seniors this position and community is for you.
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and residents, providing exceptional service and assistance to ensure a memorable experience. This role demands a proactive individual who can anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and solve problems efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Welcome and greet guests/residents upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations, ensuring a seamless transition for guests.
- Provide information on local attractions, dining options, and events, tailored to guest preferences.
- Coordinate transportation requests, including taxis, shuttles, and car rentals.
- Manage and fulfill special requests for guests, such as arranging special occasions, packages, or concierge services.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the area, including businesses, services, and entertainment, to make informed recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all guest needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, managing inventory for concierge supplies, and processing billing where necessary.
- Uphold the company's standards of service and hospitality at all times.
- Stay current with trends and changes in the local area to provide up-to-date recommendations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a concierge role is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage stressful situations with ease.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using technology, including reservation systems, email, and office software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
