Housekeeper
**Location:** Colonial Village

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our guests or residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and facilities.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitize surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring proper stocking of supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and follow all safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal items.
- Ensure the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and tools, following safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental and company goals.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items and perform strenuous tasks as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
