WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In this role, you will oversee multiple Area Managers accountable for PSSI's Sanitation Operations, which includes but is not limited to customer relations, employee relations, cleaning procedures, safety, food safety, QA, payroll, staffing, budgets, and billing.As the trustworthy escalation point for customers and the 2nd escalation point for employees, you directly impact the success of your assigned geography.

  • Work with PSSI management, team members, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure all Food Safety and Safety guidelines are trained, monitored, enforced, and documented daily while simultaneously observing and directing efficiencies across your team
  • Monitor and manage the approval process for expenses including labor, supplies, billing, payroll, and chemicals for overages and implement corrective action if needed while consistently seeking ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of completed labor hours for payroll on a weekly basis and implement corrective action if needed
  • Drive the strategy towards maintaining and improving our People-First culture compliant with all internal company procedures and policies including Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and general customer service including the team member handbook, safety handbook, Corporate Authorities manual, cleaning procedure manuals, and others
  • Monitor, report on, and look for strategic enhancements of PSSI's compliance with all external customer and government agency requirements including but not limited to EEOC, OSHA, and USDA including immediate communication with Corporate Office any activity involving regulatory agencies and documentation on any action taken if needed
  • Constantly seek out new business expansion opportunities in the geographical area covered through maintaining exceptional customer relationships, attending industry events, networking with potential future customers, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and needs
  • Develop, own, and drive action planning for customer accounts and facilities with performance or service issues; report to leadership on planning and progress
  • Other duties as assigned


YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • 18 months experience as an Area Manager or equal level experience
  • 5+ years related industry experience
  • Valid Driver's License

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position requires travel between different facilities and different working shifts within your division. The working conditions in each facility range from wet, hot, and cold environments, which require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), such as hard hat, boots, goggles, etc.
