WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The person selected for this position will work closely with other departments within the organization, as well as with outside vendors, carriers, and customers.? This role requires a combination of administrative, organizational, and physical skills.???

  • Receive shipments and ensure accurate deliveries by comparing details of packing lists to details of purchase orders.
  • Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.?
  • Preparing Bill of Ladings for shipments and assisting with other shipping needs.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers.
  • Follow all safety rules within the plant including the use of proper PPE.?
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized shipping and receiving workspace.?
  • Working with office equipment, banding equipment, and the use of pallet jacks throughout the day.
  • Other duties as assigned.?

YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED.?
  • 1 year experience in a Shipping/Receiving Clerk position.?

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.?
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.?
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with strong date entry skills.
  • Ability to pick-up new tasks as assigned on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This role will require both warehouse operations settings along with time spent in an office setting with cubicle style sitting desks. Walking, bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and light lifting will be required on a daily basis.??
