Our Calgary, Alberta facility uses crude canola oil supplied by our Lethbridge crush plant to manufacture environmentally safe drilling lubricants and hydraulic fluids under the Matex and Greenplus brand names.
Working with Richardson opens to door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant at our Calgary, AB location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers incoming telephone calls and e-mail messages, determines the nature of the communication, handles inquiries and/or forwards it to the appropriate person.
Greet visitors, log them in, and provide information; operate switchboard.
Manage daily paper flow, organize, and file documents, update spreadsheets.
Issue and track PPE for visitors; maintain PPE stock and raise orders as needed.
Prepare courier documentation and ensure timely shipments.
Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure smooth operation of office equipment.
Maintain and update documents in the document control system, track documents for review.
Administer safety meeting minutes and assist with EH&S processes.
Develop and post standard operating procedures, work aids, and forms.
Assist with ordering lunches, organizing company activities.
Accounting skills including inside sales, invoicing experience would be an asset.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or other relevant education preferred.
Administrative and social media experience would be an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Strong written communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Respect for confidentiality in the department.
