Summary

RNDC is looking for talented and energetic Accountants, Indirect Tax to join our growing Corporate Accounting team. The Accountant, Indirect Tax will be responsible for implementing and maintaining indirect tax technology solutions in order to help support the Company in its efforts to comply with state and local sales and use tax, excise tax, and unclaimed property laws and regulations.

In this role, you will
  • Assist organization with unclaimed property matters, including review of books and records to identify unclaimed property items? 
  • Upload, review, track and report unclaimed items using 3rd party software? 
  • Organize and maintain electronic tax records according to tax department procedures and identify opportunities for process improvements. Support tax manager with tax projects? 
  • Compile and analyze information and supporting documentation to satisfy information document requests issued by tax auditors? 
  • Maintain the audit log for tracking audits in progress and other relevant data on the audits? 
  • Assist in internal and external tax audits and compliance with internal controls? 
  • Monitor changes in tax rates and legislation? 
  • Learn and understand how the company transacts business to help identify innovative ways to deliver results and accomplish goals?Maintain state taxability matrices?and organize tax records and filings? 
What you bring to RNDC

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, two or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Accounting software; Compliance software; Enterprise resource planning ERP software; Financial analysis software; Tax preparation software.
