Summary

The Corporate Beverage Innovation Lead position will be responsible for the integration of beverage marketing strategies through the development and execution of high performing beverage programs and cocktail creations, which supports critical business operations between RNDC's Sales Teams and key suppliers and customers- , in such a way as to meet and exceed objectives by performing the following duties.  This role serves as a collaborative force across sales, marketing, and operations to bring bold beverage strategies to life in on-premise, retail, and digital environments.

In this role, you will
  • Work with the Director of Beverage Marketing in implementing beverage innovation initiatives for new and emerging spirit and wine brands, developing scalable drink strategies, launch toolkits, and consumer facing tactics  that support brand growth and commercial success.
  • Serve as a strategic leader and industry subject matter expert representing the full company portfolio of wine, spirits, and non alcoholic brands across key RNDC states
  • Collaborate cross functionally with national supplier partners and national/regional accounts to develop/co-develop beverage platforms that enhance brand equity and drive profitability
  • Identify and activate white space opportunities through insight driven innovation, with a focus on emerging trends, experiential beverage experiences, and differentiated guest engagement strategies
  • Work with the Director of Beverage Marketing in contributing to the creation of market- ready beverage assets- including visual content, menu language, and storytelling elements used in marketing campaigns, social media, and trade communications
  • Support the development of national account srategy by contributing to RFP responses, pitch presentations, and promotional planning sessions that align with customer goals and company objectives
  • Travel to priority markets to deliver high-impact beverage development sessions, staff trainings, and progra presentations, ensuring brand standards and program execution are consistently elevated at the point of service
  • Teach foundational knowledge of bar management practices, flavor pairing principles, mixology technique, and current industry trends
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred (marketing a plus); minimum 5 years managing a restaurant or bar program, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bar & Beverage Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in cocktail creation, bar operations, managing staff, and overseeing bar performance
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; able to present information clearly and professionally
  • Analytical & Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and apply insights to business decisions and daily operations
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in inventory systems, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation tools; knowledge of CRM and project management software
  • Certifications & Licensing: Knowledge of spirits and wine; industry certifications preferred; valid driver's license and state-specific alcohol license (e.g., TABC)
  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (60 lbs occasionally); frequent standing, walking, and manual tasks required
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed, ranging from 10% to 70% based on business needs
