Summary

RNDC is looking for innovative and collaborative Express Store Sales Associate to join our growing team. As a Sales Associate you will work with Bar Owners, Restaurant Managers and Sales Representatives. This position will receive cash, checks and credit card payments from licensed customers and sales representatives in payment for goods sold at Express Stores. 

 

In this role, you will
  • Ensure that each customer is greeted and receives outstanding customer service  
  • Merchandise and stock shelves. Assist in receiving shipments  
  • Accurately operate the cash register, accept payments, make change, provide receipts and invoices, perform end of day processes, secure funds, and process daily reconciliation  
  • Clean and maintain store to allow for a safe and efficient work environment: fixtures, carts, shelves, desks, register counters, backroom, bathroom, and floors. Build displays and maintain POS (point of sale) marketing materials  
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships and communication with managers, co-workers, and customers  
  • Perform retail duties: loading customer vehicles, weekly and annual inventory, verifying accuracy of customer orders, returns, and general office tasks  
  • Ongoing learning on products and industry related topics. Adhere to company policies and procedures  
  • Accurately clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws. Always demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the company's Core Values 
What you bring to RNDC

High School Diploma, or equivalent. 1+ years of retail, grocery, inventory, or cash-handling experience. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl daily. Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Strong sales and customer service skills and good interpersonal communication. Comfortable learning computer software. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Must be computer savvy with experience in Oracle, MS Office Suite and Outlook. CPG and or Beverage Alcohol experience is a plus. Problem solving capabilities. Knowledge of Customers & Sales Channels: On Premise (Restaurants and Bars) and Off Premise (Grocery stores, Markets and Convenience Stores) Must be 21+ years of age.

  • Strong knowledge of supplier and distribution tiers of the Wine & Spirits industry. 
  • Industry certifications (WSET, CSW, CSS, CSP) a plus. 
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA.
