Summary

RNDC is looking for a Proficient and Energetic Mechanic to join our Amazing RNDC team. The Mechanics responsibilities will be to Conduct all maintenance activities in the warehouse as they relate to the safety and efficiency of the company's conveyor, forklifts, and the warehouse facility.

In this role, you will
  • Performs repairs to the conveyor ensuring the system is always maintained in operating condition. Provides information, data, and recommendations regarding conveyor operations to anticipate, if not eliminate, potential for problems.
  • May be ?on call and available to respond to all breakdowns or problems that interrupts conveyor system operation.
  • Determines the instances when outside mechanical personnel are needed to make repairs beyond our in-house capability.
  • Assist in maintaining and assuring the safe operation of forklifts used in the warehouse.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on the entire facility including but not limited to lighting repair and replacement, minor plumbing problem etc.
     
What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or maintenance certification program; 2-3 years previous maintenance or related experience; or equivalent education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Basic knowledge in electrical and plumbing, forklifts, order pickers, and electric floor jacks. Intricate knowledge of both belt and air-driven conveyor systems and strong mechanical aptitude.
