Summary

RNDC is looking for an Innovative and Energetic Manager, Facilities and Maintenance. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Oversees on going facility maintenance and upgrade needs, and works with vendors, engineers, architects, and other parties to ensure efficient operations of all buildings and processing equipment. 

In this role, you will
  • Directs workers in maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. 
  • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. 
  • Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery. Identifies risks to operations as it relates to equipment and buildings. 
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. 
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of operations. 
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. 
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs activities of workers supervised. 
What you bring to RNDC

Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Valid Driver's License
