Summary

RNDC is looking for an Innovative and Energetic Network Infrastructure Engineer Senior. The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of network and/or application Infrastructure with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in a Global Enterprise environment.   

In this role, you will
  • Leading a team of engineers and ability to present to IT leadership. 
  • Developing and implementing technical efforts to design, build, and deploy enterprise infrastructure at the direction of lead architects. 
  • Participating in all aspects of the infrastructure life cycle for enterprise network, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. 
  • Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity. 
  • Troubleshooting incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures. 
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new infrastructure-based initiatives, providing associated training as required. Planning and implementing network changes in a high availability environment. 
  • Working with deployment teams and data center operations providing support during new capacity additions and changes on the enterprise network. 
  • Maximizing network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Installing and configuring Infrastructure equipment. Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected. · Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating Infrastructure issues to other employees and management.

Bonus if you bring
  • 5 - 10 or more years related experience, of which should be with hands on architecting, designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Knowledge of Lean/Agile development methodologies. 
  • Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry 
  • WSET certifications
