Summary

The Regional Loss Prevention and Safety Manager oversees loss prevention, physical security, and environmental health and safety programs within their designated region. This role supports business operations by providing technical expertise and strategic guidance on corporate protection standards, risk management, loss prevention, and injury prevention. The manager ensures compliance with safety protocols while driving initiatives that enhance security and reduce risk across the organization.

In this role, you will
  • Provide leadership and guidance to associates and management on loss prevention and safety intiatives, programs, and processes
  • Work closely with Director of Loss Prevention and Safety to assist developing and implementing continuous improvement programs for reducing inventory loss and injury/illness incidents
  • Assist with policy updates that aim to eliminate workplace security risks and safety hazards, providing guidance for consistency across the organization, and ensuring all applicable laws and regulations are in compliance
  • Responsible for implementing and sustaining programs to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policy, state and federal regulations
  • Perform site assessments and analytical review to detect issues, implement corrections as needed to preserve associate security and safety, and meet all progam objectives and key results
  • Manage all incidents for assigned region utilizing ThinkLP (CMS), ensuring all locations are reporting incidents timely and completely, oversee investigations, gather facts, write summary, partner on corrective actions, perform root cause analysis
  • Act as primary liason for the regional with all local, state, and federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies
  • Design and program associate training on security and safety work practices, prevention programs, incident reporting, and policies
  • Engage with corporate and market partners cross functionally to build relationships and reinforce Deliver as One culture
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field required.
  • 7+  years of relevant experience in loss prevention, safety, or a related focus area.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Proven management experience in loss prevention and/or safety roles.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski Interview & Interrogation or Environmental Health & Safety certification preferred. Must have thorough OSHA knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
  • Knowledge of digital security systems, case management, inventory management, and exception-based reporting.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and nights as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Reside within the assigned region near a major airport and travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
