Summary

Directs and coordinates activities of one or more divisions and participates in formulating and developing long range goals and objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. 

In this role, you will
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and utilize comprehensive sales plans to analyze competition, devise effective strategies, and achieve division objectives. 
  • Team Management: Build and maintain a skilled sales organization, ensuring alignment with division goals. 
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutes and regulations governing alcohol sales, credit, and ethical conduct. 
  • Territory Management: Organize territory assignments, maintain high customer satisfaction, and uphold brand representation. 
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze past sales data, initiate improvement strategies, and adapt to maximize positive trends. 
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and assess customer feedback, ensuring creditworthiness and managing collections. 
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain external and internal relationships, including public relations and collaboration with other departments. 
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide monthly sales forecasts and conduct timely reviews of sales team members. Hold regular sales meetings to communicate strategies, promotions, and other relevant information. 
  • Budget Management: Delegate budget development and expense control tasks to sales managers. 
  • Pricing and Margin Guidance: Provide recommendations to Marketing on pricing and margins. Ensure products are sold at approved prices. 
  • Adaptability: Undertake additional tasks as necessary to support branch/company success and maximize business opportunities. 
  • Supervision: Manage subordinate managers and clerical personnel, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and issue resolution. 
What you bring to RNDC
  • Masters degree from a university or equivalent preferred;  
  • four to ten years related experience,  
  • preferably five years previous management experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle.  
  • Spanish bilingual abilities desirable.  
  • Requires a current, valid state driver's license  
  • Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company.  
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
