This role immerses you in healthcare and research facilities systems, compliance programs, and operations management to support the Center's mission. Your experience can benefit all who visit our campus grounds and buildings by applying practical technical design, planning, and installation methods to solve various operational challenges. Collaboratively, you can cultivate supportive business relationships and experience professional and personal growth.

You will accomplish varying tasks throughout the day. Engineered design and review, code consultation, project development/scoping/execution, mentoring and leading staff, troubleshooting systems and developing the overall operational goals with our maintenance staff, and applying energy management practices, to name a few.

Salary is commensurate with experience Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and the equivalent of fifteen (15) years of full-time experience in Facilities Management in the areas of general facilities management, engineering design, facilities planning, customer service, facilities and systems operations, building construction, building maintenance, troubleshooting, maintenance management, facilities compliance management, construction contract management, code compliance, construction management or related aspects of the field.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    New York State registration as a professional mechanical engineer is preferred.
•    Excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required
