Title: Electrocardiogram Technician

Job Type:

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Cardiac Testing Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Performs electrocardiogram (EKG) testing under the direct supervision of a physician.

Salary range is $39,215-$48,294 annually and includes a comprehensive benefit package Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
Education and Experience
1. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an electrocardiography (EKG) technician; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and applicable current certification through an accredited organization relevant for an electrocardiography (EKG) technician.

Note:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain a Certified Electrocardiography Technician (CET) or Patient Care Technician (PCT), or Medical Assistant (MA) certification through an accredited organization within one (1) year of appointment to the title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have prior experience as a EKG tech or as a medical assistant with EKG experience. The preferred candidate will possess an EKG cert.
