Title: Occupational Therapist (First Shift/Part Time)

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Occupational Therapy Time Type: Part time Weekly Hours: 20 FTE: 0.5 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Develops and implements patient care plans to facilitate development and rehabilitation of persons with oncology-related disabilities; ensures program initiatives are keeping with the standards of practice of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New York Education Department, organization and department policies and the standards of The Joint Commission (TJC). Qualifications: Required Education and ExperienceLicense Requirement
License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
1. Master's degree from an approved occupational therapy program; or
2. Bachelor's degree from an approved occupational therapy program and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have experience in an acute care/oncology setting and must possess strong written/oral communication skills as well as time management skills.
