Title: Project Manager

Job Type:

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Balances scope, time, cost, performance and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high standards of project performance; assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of project team personnel and communication with key stakeholders and subject matter experts in accordance with Roswell Park, PMO Governance Framework to insure successful project execution; validates all project costs and business cases, justifying project approval, in support of project sponsors and with input from project subject matter experts; reports on and manages all related projects costs in a manner as defined by the Roswell Park PMO Governance Framework; develops transition plans for “go-live” activities while also implementing a measurement mechanism for reporting on and reconciling (at an agreed upon frequency) project return on investment as part of project closure; develops and maintains the Roswell Park PMO Governance Framework or some aspect of PMO management or maturity; serves as project management champion, providing leadership, taking initiative and ownership as required.

Salary range for this position is $ 88,639 - $111,897 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time project management experience across several areas/industries.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have prior IT project management experience, Cancer Research IT project management experience, academic medical center IT project management experience and IT project management experience.
