- Job Details
- 2 years experience required (experience with Critical patients requiring ventilator support typically transferred to larger facility)
- Unit accepts first time travelers
- Out of state travelers only
- Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry
- Target Ratios: 1:3
- Shift: 4x12 Nights 18:45-07:15
- Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: Traveler will float to a medsurg assignment if no SCU level patient on unit.
- Weekend Requirement: Off every third weekend
- Patient Diagnoses: COVID, Respiratory Distress, Post Cardiac Arrest, DKA, Cardiac Dysrhythmia requiring IV drips
- ED physician, nursing supervisor, and Respiratory therapy in house 24/7. Critical patients requiring ventilator support typically transferred to larger facility.
- Telemetry monitoring. Capnography capabilities.
- Omnicell, CERNER, SBAR
- UNIT ORIENTATION: 24hrs - Two twelve hour shifts for orientation.
- SCRUBS: Navy Blue
