WEST DADE MIAMI LOCATION

Hybrid schedule after 4 week training

Summary

The Tax Coordinator III is responsible for compliance of fleet administrative services for Ryder Select Care (RPM), DTS/DTS CLM/ SCS owner operator and customer owned vehicles, including IFTA, mile & surtax, highway use fee tax returns, permitting vehicles, IRP registration & licensing, and jurisdictional audit support. The position will work directly with customers and Ryder account management both onboarding new customers, ensuring fleets are current & compliant, and perform expense allocation, billing and rate maintenance for each filing period.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble, process, file, pay and rebill IFTA and mile tax returns within calendar periods ensuring completement in meeting regulations and requirements for all state jurisdictions
  • Process, distribute and rebill all vehicle permitting and IRP license registration for new accounts and annual renewals.
  • Maintain customer information, rates and updated fleet data though fluid communication lines with our customers in Ryder's systems of record.
  • Perform expense allocation journals and ledger reconciliation in Ryder's system of accounting
  • Solve compliance issues related to the accuracy of Ryder system based IFT and mile tax reports and data to determine root cause issues to problems providing and process solutions to address matters in filing and reporting
  • Meet outlined SLA and quality goals established for the team and the position.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED, required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Three (3) years or more of related work experience, required,
  • Three (3) years or more related business experience in fuel use tax, required,
  • Knowledge of Fuel and Mile Tax requirements, processes and restrictions, intermediate required.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Teams,) intermediate required.

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

$20.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$22.00
