Summary

The Product Analyst will support the Senior Global Fuels Manager and Leadership with pricing analysis, financial modeling, contract management, reconciliations, and project execution. This role is vital in supporting

Sales with increasing fuel volume while ensuring that fuel pricing remains competitive and transparent while optimizing internal processes to drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel , capable of working with large sets of data, generating advanced analyses, comparisons, and visual reports (charts & graphs). They must be detail-oriented,

articulate, self-motivated, and able to manage projects from inception to completion. This role also involves contract execution and management, supporting FMS & RIL salespeople by providing pricing

recommendations and ensuring compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Fuel Pricing Analysis & Comparisons – Develop detailed fuel price comparisons to highlight the Ryder value proposition.
  • Fuel Innovation Requests Management – Oversee and respond to inquiries in the fuel innovations inbox daily.
  • Contract Execution, Reconciliations & Compliance – Administer contracts, perform fuel pricing and commission reconciliations, and ensure proper processing, execution, and compliance tracking.
  • Project Management – Collaborate with internal departments, vendors and IT to implement product trials, vehicle movements, and new initiatives.
  • Fuel Product Line Support – Assist in managing Ryder Fuel, Mobile Fuel, and Fuel Card programs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline manual processes.
  • Create and present reports, status updates, and performance insights for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and update the sales incentive system to ensure proper commission calculations.
  • Develop marketing materials, presentations, webinars, and customer-facing resources as needed.
  • Engage in negotiations and discussions to support sales and operational strategies.

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced Excel skills – Must be proficient in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations, and data visualization (charts/graphs)., Required
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate financial analysis, Required
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences., Preferred
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently on multiple projects., Required
  • Experience managing contracts, pricing models, reconciliations, and vendor relationships is a plus., Preferred
  • Project Management experience, Preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or other technical area, Required
  • 5 years or more in Fuel, Energy or other analytical field of business, Required
  • US Fuel distribution model & players Intermediate, Preferred
  • Pricing of fuel/energy products – Retail/wholesale Intermediate, Preferred

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

$80,000
