Summary
Under general direction, gathers, analyzes, and understands business needs and system design. Leads process improvement projects and applies Six Sigma and similar methodologies and analytics to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Communicates with users/business and IT staff to examine business processes and requests, develop complex detailed requirements, and build process flow charts for the creation of applications, systems, and enhancements. Formulates and recommends solutions and options that improve efficiency, effectiveness, automation, and adherence to ITIL best practices. Serves as an expert in ITIL standards, ensuring processes and solutions align with established IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks. Mentors and trains less experienced Business Analysts. Proficient to work at the highest level of all phases of analysis, process improvement methodologies, and project management.
Essential Functions
- Serves as a liaison between the business and IT groups during the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements to current ones. Identifies business and systems processes and procedural needs.
- Employs process improvement practices and techniques to analyze and recommend solutions that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and procedures, while enforcing ITIL standards.
- Facilitates requirements by organizing gathering sessions and other related events. Examines and evaluates business needs/requests to describe what the processes, systems, and services must do to fulfill the request.
- Records/updates business and functional requirements/specifications for a simple report, system, or an application.
- Conducts feasibility and economic studies to justify the recommended automation or process improvement. Creates measures of success in assessing the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
- Mentors and trains other Business Analysts.
- Develops test plans and scripts for user acceptance testing.
- Assists in the development and refinement of PMO processes and procedures for all Business Analyst activities, ensuring ITIL compliance is embedded where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required Computer Science, Business, Business Process Improvement, Informatics or Engineering
- Five (5) years or more Business Analysis or Project Management required
- Five (5) years or more Experience in Systems Development and Project Management preferred
- Different business analysis techniques. advanced required
- Ryder business knowledge / practices / processes advanced preferred
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

$100,000.00
