SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission, and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, DevSecOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. 

We are seeking multiple AI/ML Developers to join our National Intelligence Program providing analytic and software capabilities to include data visualization tools, language translation, data ingestions, extraction, and modeling. These roles requires a deep understanding of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and statistical methods.  

These positions can be in Herndon, VA, McLean, VA or Chantilly, VA and require an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML-driven solutions for various applications in data visualization, language translation, and data processing.
• Implement and optimize data ingestion pipelines to handle a large volume of data from diverse sources.
• Develop and maintain robust data extraction algorithms to obtain actionable insights from large datasets.
• Construct and refine machine learning models to analyze complex datasets and solve various classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting problems. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing and new products.
• Research and apply the latest AI/ML technologies and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
• Visualize data and results effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring insights are accessible and actionable.
• Document AI/ML development processes, including model design, data processing, coding, and tuning to ensure reproducibility and compliance with standards.
• Assist in the translation of business requirements into technical requirements, focusing on AI/ML solutions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
• Bachelors and 5-14 years of related experience
• Will consider additional 4 years' experience with a HS diploma in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience in AI/ML development that demonstrates skills in data visualization, language translation, and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NLTK).
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistics.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with services related to AI/ML.
• Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with full-stack development and understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Multilingual capabilities or experience with NLP (Natural Language Processing).
