SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team supporting the Department of War (DoW) Office of Strategic Capital (OSC). The successful candidate will support OSC's Metals, Mining, and Materials (MMM) vertical to inform work toward investments in critical technology areas for national security, including OSC's Loan Program. The Business Analyst will have responsibility to conduct analysis of business cases for current and future OSC investments.

This position is on-site in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support MMM leadership including intake pipeline tracking and updates, interagency updates, and external engagement logistics.
  • Assist in drafting summary documents for stakeholder communication, read-aheads, takeaways, and weekly agendas.
  • Track and organize updates to project and deal pipelines, deadlines, and action items to ensure follow-through.
  • Build out industry overviews, compile information, maintain organized files and knowledge management systems.
  • Work across the DoW and US interagency to support MMM actions, projects, and priorities.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two-four (2-4) years of relevant work experience acceptable.
  • Bachelors and 10 years of experience or Masters and 7 years of experience preferred.

Required Clearance:

  • Active SECRET with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
  • US Citizenship Required

Required Skills:

  • Ability to integrate and present findings, risks, issues, and recommendations with technical and business subject matter experts both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in preparing high quality reports, slides, and outputs for a mixed senior stakeholder group.
  • Proficient in standard Office tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to quickly learn unfamiliar areas, and maintain focus in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally with partners from diverse expert backgrounds.
