SAIC is looking for a Communications Team Manager to support a Hypersonic Weapons Munitions Integration program located in Dahlgren, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
- Create high-quality written content, including reports, speeches, and presentations.
- Design visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for executive briefings and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage corporate messaging across various platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and security protocols in all communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and fourteen (14) years of experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required skills:
- 14+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and graphic design tools (Adobe Suite preferred).
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with government agencies or defense-related industries is a plus.
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Clearance requirements:
- Must have an active Secret security clearance.
