SAIC is looking for an Analyst to support Configuration Management (CM) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) efforts in managing software licenses, hardware warranties, and related logistics functions while ensuring compliance with customer database requirements and the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certification process. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, organizational skills, and an understanding of logistics and configuration management principles.
This position is located at the NAVWAR Old Town Campus in San Diego, CA
JOB DUTIES:
Input, update, and maintain configuration items (CIs) in CMPro database, ensuring accuracy and integrity of records.
Develop and implement standardized processes for tracking, monitoring, and updating software licenses, hardware warranty information, and other configuration items.
Track and manage software license renewals, hardware warranty expirations, and associated maintenance agreements.
Perform regular audits of configuration data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Support Change Request (ECR/RFC) processes and coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
Support procurement, warranty, and maintenance logistics to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with contractual obligations.
Support lifecycle logistics planning, including acquisition, sustainment, and disposal processes for hardware and software assets.
Coordinate efforts with engineering, logistics, and operations teams to support seamless management of assets.
Support developing packages for the new NAVWAR Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certification process for installations of upgrades and new IT equipment.
Support the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures. Provide configuration status accounting and configuration audits, delineating the status of changes from the baseline, the status of proposed changes, and the status of implementation of approved changes.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in Military/Defense Configuration Management and/or Integrated Logistics Support are required; or a Masters and (0) years of experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start
Experience and background in Configuration Management relevant to configuration identification and change management.
Experience in Navy C4I systems, experience supporting NAVWAR, and NIWC Pacific engineering programs.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software tools. Proficiency with maintaining and updating configuration items in enterprise databases—experience with government or NAVWAR-specific databases highly preferred, experience in CMPRO highly desired.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with DoD policies, standards, and processes related to software licenses, hardware lifecycle, and ILS.
Experience and knowledge of the NAVWAR Integrated Logistics Support Certification process.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (remote and on-site), coordinating effectively with distributed teams.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
