SAIC is seeking a Cyber Deputy Task Lead to directly support the USCYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC).

Provide subject matter expertise in cyberspace operations based on organizational, operational, and policy experience, education, and training.  Assist the JOC Task Lead with the execution of all duties as required. This role is fully on-site at Fort Meade in Maryland.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Manage the employment of the JOC contractor workforce across multiple functional disciplines and all companies (prime and subcontracting) on the contract supporting the JOC watch floor.
  • Oversee the JOC contractor watch schedule across all functional areas and inform the Program Management Office (PMO) of the utilization of the JOC contractor workforce.
  • Interface with the JOC Director and other government leadership as required for guidance and operational support requirements.
  • Coordinate with the PMO on all personnel requirements to determine supportability with current workforce.
  • Advise the JOC Director and Battle Captain on the capability, capacity, and employment of the JOC contractor workforce to meet operational requirements.
  • Draft position descriptions supporting new requirements originating from the JOC.
  • Assess candidate resumes for potential to support JOC contractor positions and make hiring recommendations to the PMO.
  • Track the status of inbound personnel through the security pipeline.
  • Ensure newly hired personnel receive sufficient orientation, initial instructions, and training to perform their required duties.
  • Track and submit contract deliverables through the PMO.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Cyberspace Operations, Telecommunications, or a related functional area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline in the area of expertise from an accredited college or university.
  • Desired minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.

Required Clearance:

  • TS/SCI Poly.

 


Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
